Hello Everyone!
I recently posted about
front door colors. I am constantly inspired by the makeovers and painted front doors seen on HGTV's Curb Appeal The Block (CABT). I began watching CABT because of the uber - hot host, John Gidding.

I finally painted my own front door today.

Little bit of prep work |
After a couple of coats and some drying time, I was able to rehang my grizzly. Done! I love it.

Christine, thanks for stopping. Yes, the fabric and starch would be perfect for a window. When you want to change it just grab a corner and peel it off. You could mist the fabric with water and it will come off even easier. Then just wash your window off, it is just starch and it would be perfect! You can throw the fabric in the wash and use it again. post if you do it I would love to see it.

thanks Carol! Now I have to find the right fabric....
Hi Christine,
Thankyou for leaving a comment on my blog, I have just had alook at your blog and it is lovely! lots of inspirational pics! I love the colour of your front door, I have a bright red front door and I love it! there is just something about a newly painted front door.
My Gabs is only 6, thankyou for your kind words and I am sure that Gabs like your son will come on leaps and bounds with her one to one extra lessons.
Looking forward to reading more of your blog,
Have a lovely evening,
Andrea at Fin and gabs
The door looks pretty! Good work! :)
Thanks, Andrea! I have always wanted a red door but it just didn't "go" with the house. When I found that grey-green, I was actually shopping for pink! But, the green was marked down really cheap ;-)
You are quite the crafty woman, Christine! I read through some of your other posts -- you have some great, thrifty ideas.
Love the color you chose for your door. Very different and unique. :) Thanks for stopping by el vigilante -- hope to meet up with you again soon.
Thanks Nancy! I feel like I don't measure up to the incredible crafting talent I have found lately, I appreciate the compliment.
