Happy Sunday! I was all set to show you how to take tarnished silverplate and make it pretty again without a lot of elbow grease. But.....I am out of aluminum foil. Someone used the last of it and didn't tell me. That same someone used the foil to make delicious bacon yesterday so he is so off the hook for that one! So, instead, here are a couple of thrift store scores to show off.

| I think that this is a candle votive shade missing the other half. I am going to figure out how to make it a lampshade. Isn't it cute? $4.99 at the Salvation Army. |

| Isn't she pretty on the inside? This is a no-name brand so its rather meaningless to me but it is very pretty on the clean parts. It would be gorgeous to hold rolls for Easter dinner, wouldn't it? (Lol!! We haven't had an Easter dinner in years! The family is so spread apart these days) If nothing else, I could paint it in red with tractor paint! |
