Hey Everyone!
If you read this with any regularity you will know that my family and I spend a lot of time on the road. The people who I work with are still in disbelief at my commute (funny thing is, I am not the only one.....everyone else just lives farther north than I and have a train to commute on). They always ask me if I am used to the commute yet. Well, yes, sort of. Between Los Banos and Gilroy it is a complete pleasure as you will see. Its between San Jose and Santa Clara that is the horrible part. Oh, the traffic!!!! Anyway, Chris and I left the traffic behind us on Friday and made a little stop to see the sights.

That road? That is Hwy 152, aka Pacheco Pass. I travel this road 6 days per week. |

San Luis Reservoir park building. Isn't the midcentury architecture amazingly cool? |

Turkey vultures. These guys don't starve here, with the freeway and all..... |

What beautiful scenery. All we have here is flat farm land.
