If you read this with any regularity you will know that my family and I spend a lot of time on the road. The people who I work with are still in disbelief at my commute (funny thing is, I am not the only one.....everyone else just lives farther north than I and have a train to commute on). They always ask me if I am used to the commute yet. Well, yes, sort of. Between Los Banos and Gilroy it is a complete pleasure as you will see. Its between San Jose and Santa Clara that is the horrible part. Oh, the traffic!!!! Anyway, Chris and I left the traffic behind us on Friday and made a little stop to see the sights.
That road? That is Hwy 152, aka Pacheco Pass. I travel this road 6 days per week.
San Luis Reservoir park building. Isn't the midcentury architecture amazingly cool?
Turkey vultures. These guys don't starve here, with the freeway and all.....
San Luis Reservoir, Los Banos, California
Now its your turn to show the rest of us your scores, accomplishments and whatever else ya got.
Come as you are, bring your besties and join along. It goes on all week.
