Show and Share Sunday

Happy Mothers Day!

I have been playing dog nurse over the weekend. My daughter's dog, Sandy, was on the losing end of a fight with one of our other dogs, Murphy. I sure with I knew what happened, they have been out in the same dog run during the day for months now without problems. So, its back to boy/girl segregation while we are away from the house. And aspirin and ice packs for the little girl for the time being.....

Mr Big-Mouth grabbed her on the back.

The patient is being hand fed when she won't eat.....

Unfortunately, like with human kids, fights and occasional injuries are all part of the multi pet life.

"why are you taking pictures of me?"

Besides the dog, my new project is my baby dresser. Not my babies but from when I was a baby. This poor dresser has been stored in a shed/garage (depending on location) for the past 5+ years. In previous homes I just didn't have the space inside then the dresser just became something to deal with. The drawers began falling apart and the mice got into the drawers and set up house there and there is water damage to part of the bottom. I'm sorry little dresser! Now I am making her pretty again. The drawers are fixed although they can only store very light items. And I am dealing with the water damage.

I am excited about this one. Something I found in the drawers definitely changed my plan for this dresser. It will have a very different look when I am done.....

Okay, your turn!

I'd love to redo that dresser! I am always on the lookout for furniture that I could mess with!
I don't have a button area since I'm still redoing my blog design but I'll get it up as soon as I have a place for the buttons I love!

That dresser is so lovely and what a charming history to go with it. You know some people may have thrown it in the landfill. I'm so delighted that you are restoring it. I can't wait to see your finished photos.
