My First Day of Working From Home

Haha, what a joke! I did get up early today, my daughter woke me up at 7am. Of course, still 2 hours and 10 minutes later than I was getting up when I went to my "real job".
I began my work day by building a light box.  I had found a tutorial at www.digital-photography-school.com. The box turned out pretty cool but I am still having problems with the light. My photos are turning out too dark. I was using a "sunlight" bulb from the turtles winter pool. I think that I need to take a little field trip to the hardware store tomorrow for a different bulb.
I spent a bit of time cleaning some vintage china that I will list later. We also finished filling the redneck pool and watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. We had gotten the movie from a Redbox, using my free code that Redbox texts to me every Monday. I could get used to watching free movies every week ;-)
Tomorrow I need to organize the house. I have been completely discombobulated today and the disorganization I'm sure has a lot to do with it.
Below is my epic failure of a living room. Why am I showing you this? Because this will make a fabulous makeover. The after photos will be so impressive, right?

Oh, its awful. A lot of this belongs on the top of the china hutch. We moved the hutch and I need to attach the earthquake strap before this goes back up.

The earthquake strap doesn't explain the rest of this mess.

Major disaster area.
Here is a silly moment we shared after we finished watching the movie. This photo had me in fits!

Hopefully I will have something better to report on tomorrow!

I only wish my house was as tidy as yours! Honestly, I live with 3 Tasmanian Devils, they just have to walk in a room and it's a mess! Sounds like your off to a great start, and I mean that in all seriousness, no point going crazy busy first day, I know I wouldn't :)
