One World One Heart 2011

 Hi Everyone!

This event is over and the winner of my fabric cuff is:

Danielle of Musings of a Military Mommy

Congrats Danielle! A message has been sent your way. Hope you enjoy the cuff!

Here is a fun new hop that I found. It is a great way to meet other bloggers from around the world.

Whimsical Bohemian

I am Christine and I am coming at you from California's San Joaquin Valley. Actually, I am usually coming at you from somewhere in the mountains during my ride to Silicon Valley. I am a long commuter, spending about 5 hours per day in the car. Crazy, isn't it? I love to craft, crochet, sew and make ugly furniture pretty again. Most of my materials are found at the thrift store and I almost never use them in the same way that I found them. In fact, Sue, my go to Salvation Army clerk laughed at me - she suggested I could fix a broken necklace and I told her, "No way! This gets taken apart!".
My door prize is a fabric cuff, upcycled from a gorgeous floral gauze skirt. The stretchable cuff is made from the waistband and the jewel is a clip-on earring. The cuff is soft and feminine without being delicate and the earring provides just the right amount of bling. The dainty bow underneath the bling is from the waist tie. This cuff is super comfortable and adds a springy pop of color!

I love this cuff so much, I see many more in my future!
To win this cuff, please leave me a comment and tell me where you are visiting from. Make sure that I will have a way to get hold of you, in case you are the winner. This giveaway is only open to those with established blogs and I will choose a winner on February 17 at 7pm PST.

Thanks for visiting! I am now off to check out the others.

Hi Christine! I'm visiting from Oz (Kansas' "fancy" name) during Snowmaggedon! I imagine you're enjoying some sunnier weather- should I win, would it be possible to tuck some warmth inside the cuff before you send it? **grin**

If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll drop by both of my giveaways (at Twigs and Tulle and Kindergarten’s 3 R’s: I’m giving away a mini bunting and some pattern blocks) during this awesome blogging event! Happy OWOH!
