Venting

Okay, I gotta vent. I just watched a mother almost hit her kinder age child with her lifted truck. She dropped her kid at the curb of the school and started to roll away as the child was trying to get back into the truck. I waved her down and when I told her that the child was there, she said she didn't see her. DUH! The truck is way to high to see anyone!! Aaarrrgggggggggggggggg! When did we become so busy/lazy that we cannot take a minute to make sure that our child makes it safely to school?

I know, right?? It was all I could do not to tell her off and make a scene. My son was run over in a situation similar to this, the person driving thought that my son was all the way in the car. He was 13 at the time and luckily only suffered a broken ankle. That baby this morning would have been crushed under those giant tires.
