Jumping on the Wordpress Bandwagon

     Hey everyone! So I have been seeing quite a few people leaving Blogger and heading to Wordpress. I have been thinking for a while about making the jump and today I am finally following through. I am trying to follow tutorials (Screaming Sardine has a good one). There are a few things that I wasn't understanding but I am getting a handle on it and learning so much! I haven't had any big issues with Blogger, the main reason that I am making the switch is because it is my understanding that Wordpress is much more SEO friendly, that I will get better results from my keywords.
     I know that a lot of people blog for the fun of it and don't concern themselves with page views and followers. However, I am now a WAHM and I need to effectively market myself and my products if I have any hope at all of paying my mortgage. Don't get me wrong, though, I love blogging! My favorite part of the day is getting on and seeing what everyone else is up to!
     I am also changing my blog name. I am changing from Crafty Geordi (a name I love but it doesn't really reflect what I am doing) to:

Sugar and Trash

What do you think? I think that it is a fun way to describe upcycling.....
