Christmas Gift for My Daughter (and One Misadventure)

Hi Everyone!

Last night I finally got around to making some necklaces, I had been wanting to do this all day. The beads are from the same group that I showed on my sneaky peeks the other day.

The flower shell is one of the beads that I used.
I made the necklace using pink and white shell chips upcycled from another necklace, some silvery transparent beads and some white ribbon. It was a really cool necklace! Until I broke it this morning when I was posing it for a photo.

This one was jinxed from the start. Twice, as I was working on it, I dropped the end of the string, spilling beads all over the floor. I was so happy when I was done! Oh well, better luck next time on this one.....
The necklace I made for my daughter's Christmas gift was much easier. It only involved two beads. The dragon was a charm that she picked out when we went to the NorCal Renaissance fair over the summer. She picked it out with the agreement that it would be for Christmas.

And, here is something for a little bit of Monday fun. I haven't quite figured this one out yet. Sandy-dog is a vegetable vacuum cleaner! She loves veggies of all kinds - raw, cooked, it doesn't matter.

Eggplant

Yum!
Wishing everyone a great week! If you are traveling this week, please do so safely.
Don't forget to join my Comes From the Heart Linky Party! It's open until December 26th.
