Pink Quilted Tote (or Diaper Bag?)

I recently found the sweetest quilted skirt at the Salvation Army. It was way too cotton candy sweet to wear but I knew that it would be fun to decorate something with it.

Super sweet quilted skirt. It's not fake-y quilt, these are all individual quilt squares sewn together.

I also had the leftovers of a denim dress that I thought would make an adorable tote. That I don't have a photo of.....
I used a pink sheet to line the bag and create pockets on the inside.

This pink fitted sheet was a Salvation Army rescue.
And here is what all of those pieces of fabric became.

This will make a great market tote.

Or a cute (but not overly so) diaper bag!

The back side.

I added interior pockets for your cell phone, sunglasses, wallet, diaper wipes, pacifier, whatever you can think of.

Do you see the piping at the top? This was my first time using piping. Its so easy, I don't know why I was intimidated by it before!

This will be going on my Etsy shop this weekend.
